Robert McCloy

He and Eliza Scelpin were both living in the Winter and Mary Hastings household in Nebraska at the time of the 1860 federal census so it is likely they were traveling closely with them in this company as well. Their relationship to the Hastings family or even to one another is uncertain.

Robert and his brother, John McCloy, emigrated to the United States in 1860 on the Underwriter. It is likely they traveled to Utah in the same year. More research is required to determine exactly when they arrived to Utah.
