Robert Oakden
Robert arrived in New Orleans via the ship Windermere on 23 April 1854. He was traveling with his brothers, William, Charles, and Philip. The British Mission Record, as seen on Mormon Migration, suggests that their passage was arranged with the assistance of Thomas Boam, who also traveled that year, so it is likely the four brothers traveled with Boam on the overland journey as well.
Robert is listed as a Teamster from Big Cottonwood on the Joseph Horne company (1862).
