Robert William Ure
The Ure family traveled to the Salt Lake Valley with the Ezra T. Benson Company in 1849. The Ure family included James and his wife Janet Scott, and their son James William. James’ brother Robert William also traveled with the Benson Company.
His birth date was obtained from information he submitted to Fourteenth Quorum of Seventies, Minutebook, vol. 1, in Seventies Quorum, Records, CR 499, reel 40.
His travel to Utah in 1849 is confirmed by the obituary of his father.
