Rodney Degrass Swasey
Evidence that he came is found in newspaper and genealogical records. His obituary states that he initially came to Utah in 1850. At some point, he continued on to California and lived there until 1857 when he returned to Utah to live out the duration of his life. Further research is needed to identify the companies he traveled with.
