On the original handwritten roster of the William B. Preston company her name was spelled "Rudolphine Jacobsen." The 1864 Monarch of the Sea ship manifest shows her name as "Rudolphine G. Baltsarsen." She traveled with her husband, Baltzar and children: Kirstine and Petrea.
