Ruth Ladurna Pierce

There is no evidence that Ruth came to Utah during the pioneer period (1847-1868). Based on dates that her children were born, she was in Missouri in 1849. In 1860, she appears on the census in New York. Based on the dates of temple ordinances and births of children, she was likely sealed to Heber C. Kimball as a spiritual wife only. She probably came to Utah after 1868 with her husband John Harrington. In 1870 and 1880, they were living in Michigan. They appear in Utah on the 1900 census.
