Ruth Nevison

Ruth and her family traveled to America on the ship Hartley arriving in New Orleans 28 April 1849.  Her husband Henry and a child Henry died in 1849.

Ruth and her daughter Ann came to Utah between 1849 and 1853; they were both re-baptized at Salt Lake City, 2 October 1853.  At the time of the 1856 Territorial census Ruth was living in the Salt Lake 13th Ward.  Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel and identify the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.

Ruth was rebaptized again in the Thirteenth Ward on 1 April 1857. Her date of birth on that record is 1 August 1807.
