Samuel Butler

After his wife Hannah died in March 1856, he traveled to Utah with their 7 serving children.  

Note: His son Philander Butler's obituary incorrectly identifies date of travel to Utah as 1857, not 1856; evidence from census records and Philander's death certificate proves the Butler family traveled to Utah in 1856.
