On 1830 April 10 (Born)
Death Date
On 1904 December 24 (Died)

His name appears on the 1850 New York Census, taken on 31 August 1850.  The first documentation to place him in Utah is the Militia records on 9 November 1853, so we know that he came to Utah between 1851 and 1853.  Further research is needed to determine the year of his arrival in Utah and the name of the pioneer company with which he traveled.

His name also appears in the militia records on 2 June 1862.  His death date is confirmed by the California Deaths and Burials record.  His obituary appears in the Memories section of his FamilySearch record.  It also confirms his death date.
