Samuel Payne
Orphan. Samuel's parents both died before coming West. He was the youngest of five. He and his siblings were placed with various families, and he traveled overland with the Simeon Blanchard family. He is listed in the household of Simeon Blanchard in the 1850 Utah Census. The Blanchard family then placed him with the Simeon Dunn family. He is also listed with the Dun family in the 1850 Census and then again in the 1856 Census.
