Traveling with Elder Aaron Allred in a car they tracted the suburban districts of Los Angeles and the Imperial Valley. At the time this was considered a 'novel way of preaching the Gospel.' (Calimis 1: p. 7.);  Feb, 1922 gave a blood transfusion to help Elder Vernon C Layton who was seriously ill.
