Sarah traveled to Utah with her second husband, Charles E. W. Thomas. They married in St. Louis in 1856 and later divorce in 1859 after reaching Utah. She and her first husband, George Crowther, separated and divorced sometime before 1856. Sarah and Charles likely came in 1856, the year her son's (Edwin Heber) obituary states that he came. She has a daughter, Eliza, who married in Salt Lake September 1856. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel.
