Sarah Ann Brett

Sarah and her children began the journey with her mother Sarah Upstone Alcock, who died on the ship Horizon and was buried at sea. Her travel to Utah is mentioned in her daughter's obituary. The amount charged on the PEF bond verifies they came in the Martin company.

The family sailed to America in 1856 on the ship Horizon.
