Evidence from emigration and church (Perpetual Emigrating Fund) records proves she traveled to Utah in 1863. Her birth year varies in different sources. Her Idaho death record lists her birth year as 1817, the TIB as 1814, but an earlier record in an LDS branch record in England lists it as 1815. We have chosen to use this earlier recorded date of 1815.She traveled with her children, Samuel and Margaret Armitage. They are listed under the surname of "Cheetham" on the 1863 ship Amazon manifest.
