Sarah Ann Pulsipher
2 November 1824 - 1 January 1909. Born in Spafford, Onondaga, New York. Daughter of Zera Pulsipher and Mary Ann Brown. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 2 November 1832, in New York. Moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, spring 1835. Moved to Missouri, 1838; to Bear Creek, Hancock Co., Illinois, Mar. 1839. Married John Alger, 06 Jan 1842, in Hancock, Illinois. Sarah travels with the Brigham Young Company, arriving in Salt Lake City in 1848. She remains there until 1856 when she they are called to serve in the Shoshone Mission, at Fort Supply, Wyoming until returning to Salt Lake in 1857. Moved to St. George with her husband to help settle the area. Died in Saint George, Washington, Utah.
