Daughter of William and Mary Bond. Sarah did not sail to the United States with her parents in 1848. She appears in the 1851 English census in the home of her grandparents. She came to the United States in 1852 aboard the Andrew Foster. Her birth date and death date are confirmed by the inscriptions on her gravestone.
