Sarah Boot
The British Mission Record shows her as part of the traveling group of the Birch family who came on the ship St. Mark, arriving in New York on 24 July 1866. In the PEF record, her account is listed directly above the Birch family. According to the Scott company roster, Ann Birch bought 5 1/2 adult food rations for the overland portion of the journey, which was one more ration than she would have needed for her and her children. She also married the Ann Birch's oldest son, who was also in the Scott company shortly after the company arrived in the Valley. Sarah's name is also penciled in next to Ann Birch on one copy of the handwritten roster to the Scott company.
