Sarah traveled to America in 1854 with her family on the ship Clara Wheeler. She married George Moore 1860 in Nebraska. Her surname is spelled "Moor" on the 1870 Utah census.
Evidence from newspaper and genealogical records proves the Moore family traveled to Utah in 1862. They reportedly arrived in Salt Lake on 15 Oct. Their name is spelled "Moor" on the 1870 Utah census.
