Sarah Crowther Mitton

The family's surname is listed as Milton on the 1857 George Washington ship manifest, and Hannah's name is listed as Anne Milton on the company roster.

According to the obituary of Samuel Crowther Brown, Samuel and his father came to America earlier than his mother and siblings so that they could earn enough money to bring the rest of the family to America.  His father died before the family came to Utah with the 1859 James S. Brown pioneer company.
