Sarah Elizabeth Muir

Sarah Elizabeth Littlewood emigrated to the United States in 1841. She traveled on the ship Tyrian. During the voyage, she gave birth to her daughter, Elizabeth Tyrene Littlewood. Joseph Martin was born in Nauvoo, Illinois and Emma Jane was born in Missouri. Sarah Elizabeth's husband, Martin, and sister-wife, Ann, came to Utah in 1853 as part of the Appleton M. Harmon Company. It is unclear if Sarah Elizabeth and her children traveled with them. Some evidence suggests that Sarah Elizabeth and her children traveled to Utah in 1860. Further research is needed to narrow the year of their travel.
