"Mormon Thunder" contains a letter from Grant to Susan Grant which talks about the family's travel to Utah in 1850.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they traveled.

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate and the inscription on her gravestone and shows her name as "Sarah Elizabeth Bridges.
