Sarah Jane Dyson

Sarah and her grandmother Alice Earnshaw sailed to America in 1861 on the ship Monarch of the Sea.  Sarah's obituary gives details of their travel, but states that they came to Utah in 1856, which is incorrect.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the company with which they traveled to Utah.

In some sources her name is "Sarah Jane Earnshaw."

Her birth and death dates are confirmed by her death certificate, which shows her name as "Sarah Jane Randall."
