Sarah Joanna Barron
Started for Utah in 1853 with the Preston Thomas Company. A majority of the company halted for the winter near the mouth of the Verdigris River not far from Fort Gibson, Indian Territory. The company reassembled under Washington Jolley 1854, and continued onto Utah.
