Sahra Kirstine Bertelsen

The first evidence of Sarah's arrival in Utah is her marriage in October 1863. Her obituary states that she came in 1849 with her uncle, Anthon Christensen, and another source says that she came with her uncle by the age of 16. Evidence from church records proves that Anthon traveled to Utah by 1862 when a church ordinance was performed. Further research is needed to determine the year they came to Utah and the name of the company they traveled with.In some sources her name is listed as "Sarah Kristine Christensen Soeholdt."
