Her death certificate lists her surname as "Williams" (the surname of her second husband).

Although not directly listed in the memorandum book, John (Sarah's first husband) purchased enough food rations for two people.  According to New York passenger lists, the Stubbs' traveled from Liverpool to New York aboard the Colorado, arriving 28 July 1868.
