Sarah Yeates
According to the British Mission record, as found in Mormon Migration, Sarah traveled alone across the ocean, arriving in Boston on 20 April 1857 via the ship The George Washington. Her brother, Frederick, mentions in his history that his "sister" traveled just ahead of his company in the 1857 Jesse Martin company. He had only two sisters that traveled to the Valley, Sarah and Esther and Esther did not make the trip until 1859.
Sarah married Daniel Gamble shortly after arriving in the Valley.
