Sidney Smith Wilson
His brother's journal indicates that Sidney and his family (wife Nancy and children), traveled with them to the outfitting post. There the family split. Sidney and his family went with the Canfield Company and others went with the Warren Company.
Sidney is seen on the Canfield company records as a teamster, which was probably done to help pay his passage. The names of his wife and children do not appear on the company records, but the Stephen Wilson reminiscence indicates they went with the Canfield company as well.
