Sophia Caroline Vickery

Her parents were Arthur and Mary Vickery (step-mother). She traveled with her parents and brothers, Jenkins and George, arriving in New York via the ship John J. Boyd on 31 August 1857. Mary died before the family made the trip to Utah. Sophia was married on 24 May 1861 in Ohio to Thomas William Davis and PEF records indicate that the family was in Utah by September of 1861. 

Family tradition indicates that Sophia traveled overland with her husband, father, and brothers.
