Sophia Parkins

With financial assistance from the Perpetual Emigrating Fund Sophia crossed the Atlantic on the ship Marshfield in 1854.  She married Charles Welch in Salt Lake City in December of this year.  At the time of the 1856 Utah Territorial census she was in Ogden, Utah where she died in 1858.  Additional research is needed to identify the name of the pioneer company with which she crossed the plains.
