Soren Juul Sorensen
He traveled on the ship Monarch of the Sea, arriving in New York on 16 June 1861. Birth date confirmed by Millcreek Ward record at the time of his rebaptism in June 1862, which would have been prior to that year's emigration season.
Scandinavian Mission records indicate that he was traveling with Anders P. Krog and his son. Payment was made for the three of them together for the entire journey to Utah, so it is very likely that they stayed together through the overland journey. The Krog's traveled with Samuel Wooley's 1861 company.
He came on the ship, Monarch of the Sea in 1861. The same ship his mother was on.
