Stephen Callan
Evidence from emigration and church (Perpetual Emigrating Fund or PEF) records proves he traveled to Utah in 1863.
Stephen was "bonded" to Jonah Evans through the Perpetual Emigrating Fund Company. He is listed just below the Evans family on the Amazon roster. He is listed on the ship roster under the surname "Callow" or "Callon."
Since Stephen and Jonah shared a PEF bond, it is likely that Stephen traveled to Utah with the Evans family as a member of the McArthur company. More research is needed to confirm this possibility.
