Stephen Goodrich Thornton

The family's travel to Utah is mentioned in his mother's obituary.  Stephen was re-baptized on 2 November 1851 at Salt Lake City (his re-baptism record records his birthday as 9 February 1831.)  His name first appears in the records of the Utah Territorial Militia on 7 October 1851 at Salt Lake City.
