He is on the roster for the John Taylor Company traveling from Iowa City, but is also listed as traveling in a wagon in the Oscar Stoddard handcart Company that started in Florence. It appears that the family left the Taylor Company and joined the Stoddard Company at Florence and traveled with them the rest of the way to Utah.
