Thomas Clayson

Emma and Thomas arrived in New York on 18 July 1863 via the ship Amazon. (Their surname is spelled Clayton on the ship manifest.) Susannah Moulton was also on that ship and PEF records indicate that the three were traveling together.

Some family histories indicate they were part of the Daniel D. McArthur company in 1863. Further research is needed to confirm this.
