Thomas Forsyth
Thomas initially traveled to the Salt Lake Valley as a Captain of the 2nd Ten in the Stephen Markham Company in 1850. However, he later participated as one of the rescuers that were sent out in the winter of 1856 to assist the members of the Church stranded in Wyoming.
The family's travel to Utah in 1850 is mentioned in the obituary of his son Thomas.
