Thomas Greenwood
Evidence from census records proves that Thomas traveled to Utah in 1854 or 1855. His father came to Utah in 1853, but Thomas is not listed with him on the every-name roster. The first evidence to place him in Utah is the 1856 Utah census which was taken in February 1856, prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to confirm the year he came to Utah and the name of the company he traveled with.
He is seen out on the trail again several years later, this time as a teamster for the 1868 John G. Holman out-and-back company.
