Thomas, his wife Rachel, daughter Ellen, and his son Edward, his wife Jane and daughter Sarah came from England in 1861 on the ship Manchester.
Thomas came to Utah between 1861 and 1863. He likely came in 1861, the year he sailed to America. But the first documentation to place him in Utah are church ordinances performed in March 1864 which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration. Further research is needed to narrow the year of his travel.
He could have traveled in the 1861 Young/Harmon/Kimball Company with his son Edward and his family.
