Victor Ecklund
Victor arrived in New York on 15 June 1863 via the ship B. S. Kimball. His older brother, Carl was with him. They likely were escorted by someone, but it is not evident who. It may have been Eva C. Elf, whose name appears just above theirs on the ship passenger list.
First documentation to place them in the Valley is Carl's baptism in Utah on 20 September 1863 in the Moroni Ward. That record indicates their parents were "Andrus P. Achland & Lena." Their mother, along with other siblings, made the journey to the Valley in 1865.
