William Abner Bell

Son of Abner Bell and Nancy Garwood.  His mother died in Iowa in January 1850.  William was re-baptized at Salt Lake City on 27 April 1851 and according to the files of the Sons of Utah Pioneers he married Esther Jane Booth on 17 December 1851.  In 1856 they moved to San Bernardino, California but returned to Utah in 1858.  At the time of the 1860 Utah census they were living in Cache County. In 1870 they were in Montpelier, Rich County.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company with which they crossed the plains.
