William Allen Flint

Evidence from newspaper and genealogical records proves the Flint family traveled to Utah in 1854.  They had crossed the Atlantic on the ship Ellen in 1851.  With them on the ship were the following children: Sarah (age 9), Robert (age 7), Samuel (age 5), Millicant (age 3) and Elizabeth (age 1).  These all arrived in New Orleans but four of them died in 1851.
