William Bell
An article in the Latter-day Saint Millennial Star (27 Mar. 1858), reprinted from the New York Herald, reported that "Mr. B. went out to Utah with one of the principals of the firm [Livingston, Kinkead, and Co.], in 1849. The notice of Bell's marriage in the Deseret News [Weekly] of 2 Apr. 1856, says he was a "merchant, of the house of Livingston, Kinkead & Co." In the 1850 Utah census William is listed as a clerk, age 30, born in Connecticut,
