William Boulter

William sailed to America in 1849 on the James Pennell, arriving in Louisiana 22 October 1849, and came to Utah in 1850.  His name appears on the 1850 Utah census, taken in the Spring of 1851, which was prior to the arrival of that season's emigration.  Further research is needed to determine the name of the pioneer company he traveled with.  The Salt Lake County Recorder's Office, Deed book A records his sale of property in Salt Lake City 20 September 1853.  His name is listed there as "William Baulter."   His brother John was on the 1849 Pennell ship manifest with William, but John came to Utah in the 1852 John Tidwell Company.
