William George Granter
George was from Dorset-shire, England. His surname appears as "Grunter" on the 1850 North Atlantic ship manifest where his occupation is listed as "Engine Driver." He sailed with Sarah Granter. He was re-baptized at Salt Lake City on 26 September 1852 (the same day as Sarah) and he received a Patriarchal Blessing four days later. His name appears in the records of the Utah Territorial Militia at Salt Lake City in October 1852. In the 1852 Bishop's Report he was living in the Salt Lake 11th Ward and was still living there at the time of the 1856 Territorial census.
