William Morton Harris

William immigrated to the United States in 1856. He sailed with his father and brother on the ship called "Caravan." They stayed in New York for a few years before heading to Utah. His mother Rebecca joined them in 1857. William married Jane Carter in New York in 1858. They had their first child while crossing the plains. Evidence from Church financial records confirm that he came to Utah in 1859.
