William Nicholas

William, his sons John and David came from Wales on the ship Golconda.  His wife Hannah died the 30 March 1854.

William came to Utah between 1854 and 1856. He likely came in 1854, the year he sailed to America. But the first documentation to place him in Utah is the 1856 Utah census. His name appears on the PEF ledger surrounded by others traveling in 1854, which further identifies him as traveling in that year.  Further research is needed to narrow the company in which he traveled.
