Zeruah Norwood Roby

Zeruah was the wife of Stephen Hezekiah Goddard and appears in the Nauvoo Temple records with a birth date of 20 February 1832, born in Boston, Massachusetts.   However, in the 1850 Utah census she appears in the household of her husband as "Zeria" Goddard, age 47, born in Massachusetts.   This suggests a birth year of 1803 a date closer to that of her husbands birth.  She may have crossed the plains in the 1848 Brigham Young Company with her husband, but her name does not appear on the company roster.  Additional research is needed to verify her year of travel and the name of the pioneer company with which she traveled.
