1930

A division of the South American Mission on 25 May 1935 created the Brazilian Mission. Rulon Stanley Howells was appointed the first mission president. At that time the Brazilian Mission covered what is now Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.
