Was a "reopening" of the Japanese Mission. Headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, the goal was to proselyte to Japanese-speaking people in the islands of Hawaii.
The mission was officially named the Central Pacific Mission during WWII.
The mission's purpose ended after missionary work on mainland Japan allowed for the mission to reopen in 1948. Two years later the Central Pacific Mission was merged with the Hawaiian Mission in 1950.
