Italian Mission

Missionaries first arrived in Italy on 25 June 1850, when Lorenzo Snow, Giuseppe (Joseph) Toronto, and Thomas B. H. Stenhouse landed at Genoa. The Italian Mission operated until 1854 when it was combined with the Swiss Mission to become the Swiss and Italian Mission.
