This train was not a Mormon emigrant train. Rather, it was a group of people on their way to California. It is included because it is documented that William Hickman and Isaac Hatch, along with some of their family members, who were all members of the Church, were traveling with them. It left Council Bluffs in April of 1849 and arrived in Salt Lake city on the 14th of August. It consisted of 40 wagons and the captain was identified simply as "Mr. Cornwall."
